The Michigan football team welcomes its favorite brother (we'll say the age gap is indeterminate for…diplomatic reasons) to The Big House, as the Wolverines play host to Michigan State this Saturday. And they'll be doing it in their big game colors.
Michigan's uniform combination for this weekend's bout is here, and they'll be clad in their "Big Game Blues" — the traditional all-blue look the program has touted for some of its biggest clashes in recent years. Most associated with games against Ohio State in 2021 and 2023, the look typically consists of blue jerseys, blue pants, and white or maize accents.
But this weekend, it appears the Wolverines will be using blue accents to really amplify the "Blue Out" that the crowd will be rockin' with. Fans are encouraged to wear blue when attending this game, so if you plan on going to the game this weekend, be sure to wear your favorite blue attire.
I'm a fan of this look. It clearly differentiates itself from the standard unis, has a "big game" feel and fits the cold, menacing feel of Big Ten football in November. Now all there is to do is to keep Paul home.
What do you think of the all-blue look? Let me know down in the comments!
