During last night’s episode of the ITV show, Tim Metcalfe took the decision to stop his mother from running off to Las Vegas and marrying the dodgy businessman Stephen Reid.
Elaine became unwell and later confided in Stephen about her health woes, providing him with the information he needs to kill her off.

Now those stars have been revealed: Alanis Morissette and Ed Sheeran have been called in for temporary roles on American Idol, according to Deadline.
The You Oughtta Know singer will serve as a mentor to the remaining contestants as they gear up to perform duets of Ed’s hit songs.
Both Alanis and the Perfect singer will take the stage themselves for a song as well, with the British crooner debuting a new single.
According to ABC, Katy and Lionel will pop in on the Top 10 and viewers from Windsor Castle in England while they’re away too.
Luke, 46, told ET of his co-judges replacements: “It’s big time. It’s big time. The people that we have filling in, contestants have used their songs many, many times. A lot more than mine!”

Viewers accused Katy of being “unprofessional” and “doing Wé dirty” by looking shocked when she made it through to the top 12.
One wrote in an online thread: “Katy was hands down rude from the face she made (that at first I read as disbelief over Wé’s incredible performance), to go on and on about voting for your favorite contestant. It was incredibly unprofessional.”

Friends and colleagues from the culinary world including Gordon Ramsay and Nigella Lawson have paid tribute to the celebrity shock following news of his shocking death.
Jock’s last Instagram post about the new season of MasterChef Australia starring Jamie Oliver was shared just hours before he was found dead by police at a hotel in the Carlton area of Melbourne.
He is survived by his wife Lauren Fried, whom he met on Twitter, and their four children.
Jock’s last name came from his father’s roots in Scauri, Italy, which helped influence his love of food.
His entry into the restaurant trade, he said, happened purely by chance.
Before his 13th birthday, he and his family were on holiday in the former Yugoslavia when, according to Jock, he lost his virginity to a “much older French woman”.
Writing about the experience in his memoir, Last Shot, Jock said: “I was 12, she was French and much older. It was very wrong, now that I think back.”
But Jock returned to Scotland infused with a love for the street food he encountered in southern Europe.
After looking for a job so he could buy a bike, he started working in the one place that would hire him: a local restaurant.
From then on, he said, he knew he wanted to be a chef.
But just a year later, still in his early teens, he got a glimpse into the darker side of the industry when, as he put it, he was offered cocaine by his colleagues.
Soon, he was partying in Glasgow most weekends, at a time in the late 1980s when the city was, in his words, “absolutely awash” with drugs.
Jock and his friends started with buying weed, before splitting ecstasy pills that could be bought for just £25.
Soon afterwards, however, he tried heroin for the first time, and felt a high “unlike anything he’d ever had before”.
Jock claimed he would shoot up at least twice a day, and that withdrawal left him with “shakes, muscle pain and nausea”.

However, despite his drug problems, his career was going from strength to strength, and in 1994 he got a job working for top chef Marco Pierre White.

In 2019, he joined MasterChef Australia as a judge alongside Melissa Leong and Andy Allen.
The following year, Orana was forced to shut down with millions of dollars in debt, despite being named Australia’s best restaurant in 2018’s Good Food Guide.
Friends say he was positive about the latest series of MasterChef and excited about working alongside his friend Jamie Oliver.
Fellow celeb chef and pal Colin Fassnidge said Jock was “on top of the world” during their final conversation.
Colin, who appeared on My Kitchen Rules and Kitchen Nightmares, knew Jock for 20 years.
He told Daily Mail Australia: “It’s so shocking.”
Colin added that when they last spoke six months ago, Jock “was flying, he was doing a great job, he had a great show, he was on top of the world.
“Jock was normal, he was healthy and he was living a good life. I just feel so sorry for his other half.”
The chef’s family put out a statement on his Instagram and Facebook following the tragic news.
They wrote: “With completely shattered hearts and without knowing how we can possibly move through life without him, we are devastated to share that Jock passed away yesterday.”
The statement went on: “For those who crossed his path, became his mate, or were lucky enough to be his family, keep this proud Scot in your hearts when you have your next whisky.”
Victoria Police say they found Jock’s body just after 2am on Monday morning after being called to a hotel on Lygon Street for a welfare check.
No information has been given about the cause of death, but authorities aren’t treating it as suspicious at this time.
A report is due to be prepared for the coroner.

KHLOE Kardashian has been pictured rubbing Usher’s abs and nipples during a wild night in Las Vegas.
Khloe, 38, flew to Sin City on Saturday with her big sister Kim Kardashian and some pals to watch Usher perform live as part of his residency.

The siblings were clearly having a great time and shared plenty of footage of themselves on their Instagram Stories.
Good American co-founder Khloe had ditched her underwear for the occasion and showed off her svelte figure in a skintight cut-out dress.
As Usher performed some of his biggest hits, the two sisters danced against one another as they flaunted their best moves.
At one point, 44-year-old Usher entered the audience and stopped to perform right in front of Kim, Khloe, and their pals.
Mom-of-two Khloe clearly got very excited and was caught on camera stroking the singer’s bare chest.
In another shot, either Khloe or Kim appeared to be caressing his bare nipples as he grinned from ear to ear and continued singing.
Khloe’s cheeky behavior comes after fans continued to speculate about whether or not she is back with her cheating ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson.
At the beginning of April, the two were spotted hanging out together in Rialto, California.
In a video taken inside a McDonald’s drive-thru window, the on-and-off again couple was seen picking up Happy Meals for their two young children.
Even though followers are convinced the exes have reunited, the mom-of-two recently claimed she is single on The Jennifer Hudson Show.
Despite Khloe declaring that she’s single and interested in being on a dating show, her ex Tristan 32, has been welcomed back into the Kar-Jenner family.
The U.S. Sun exclusively spoke to a source close to the famous family about Tristan’s involvement.
“Tristan has basically been welcomed back into the Kardashian family fold yet again and is spending a lot of time with them,” the insider said.
“He drove up with Khloe to Palm Springs early last week and was there until Sunday with their kids, Kris [Jenner], Kim, and the whole gang.
“They were staying at Kris and Kylie’s side-by-side homes and Bright Event Rentals decked out the entire place for a huge Easter party.”
“Kim’s jet was going back and forth all week from LA to Palm Springs, which is 33 minutes each way, but Khloe and Tristan spent eight hours doing the round-trip together,” the source added.
Khloe and Tristan share two kids: a five-year-old daughter True and a baby boy whose name is not yet known.

Ant and Dec will reveal a new secret ballot during tonight’s episode leaving Toff describing the move as “horrendous”.
Walking into the Kruger National Park site, Dec says: “We bring news. For one of you this will be your last night in camp. But this time, who that is, is up to you.”
Ant adds: “You’ll each be taking part in a secret ballot and you’ll be voting to decide the next celebrity to leave camp.”
It comes as Gillian McKeith revealed former EastEnders star Dean Gaffney got into a fight with Janice Dickinson’s husband, Robert “Rocky” Gerner, when he tried to give her a kiss during an I’m A Celebrity post-show meal.
