CBS has recently pulled the plug on one of its most successful shows when it’s still in its prime.
Executives at CBS gave the boot to the beloved crime drama S.W.A.T. after they aired it on the network for six seasons.

S.W.A.T.’s final episode will air on May 19, The Hollywood Reporter reported today.
Over the last several years, the show’s leading man Shemar Moore, 53, has captured the hearts of fans as the hard-hitting Los Angeles Police Department Sgt. Daniel “Hondo” Harrelson.
Shemar, the other main actors on the show, the production team, and the writers room, were all credited and thanked by CBS Entertainment President Amy Reisenbach for making S.W.A.T. a hit.
“For six seasons, the amazing talents of the S.W.A.T cast led by Shemar Moore, the writers, producers and crew guided by executive producers Shawn Ryan, Andy Dettman and Aaron Rahsaan Thomas brought us compelling, action packed episodes that also addressed important social issues and contributed to the success of our primetime line up,” Amy said in a statement.
“We sincerely thank them for their incredible work and passion and also thank our dedicated fans who tuned in every week.”
Unlike most shows that get canceled, S.W.A.T. was far from having low ratings.
The action-packed series had increased viewership within the last season, averaging 6.82 million viewers over seven days, compared to the 6.41 million in 2021-2022, THR explained.
Even with the dip in ratings among adults 18-49, S.W.A.T. still ranked as one of the top 20 dramas on ad-supported TV.
SAY IT AIN’T SO
An overwhelming amount of fans shared on Twitter that they were shocked that S.W.A.T. got canceled.
One fan tweeted: “I definitely didn’t think SWAT was going to be canceled.”
Another asked in disbelief: “SWAT GOT CANCELED???!?!?”
A third fan added: “I honestly was not expecting SWAT to be canceled. I’m genuinely shocked…”
Someone else complained: “I don’t understand why SWAT got canceled.”
Meanwhile, other fans were outraged by the show ending, some even attacking CBS’ head honchos for their decision.
“SWAT is canceled please take this back this isn’t funny,” a fan raged.
Another ranted: “I am so pissed off about SWAT being canceled it’s almost laughable.”

CBS was destined to get backlash from fans for ending the show, being that S.W.A.T. has many die-hard fans.
Just last season, fans were left angered on Sunday, May 23, 2022, when season five episode 22 was delayed due to the PGA golf.
However, the finale, titled Farewell, eventually aired with Christina “Chris” Alonso making her final appearance on the show.
Chris, played by Lina Esco, spent the night with her long love interest Jim Street as the team tackled their last high-profile terrorist attack together.
It came after Alonso had told Street had she had decided to leave SWAT to take over from Mama Pina – the woman who runs a local safe house for immigrant women fleeing bad situations and is now hospitalized.

The Coronation is set to be televised around the world on Saturday, and a number of UK networks have dedicated a large portion of their schedules to the coverage.

At 10.15am, coverage of the build up to the procession and the Coronation itself will start and go on until 1pm, before The Coronation of HM the King: The Celebration begins.
It means Saturday Kitchen Live, Mary Berry: Love to Cook and Football Focus have all been scrapped.
Then in the evening, game shows including Blankety Blank and Pointless Celebrities are making way for The Coronation: A Day to Remember.

Posting an image of the novel’s cover on her Instagram, Whoopi captioned it: “A new kind of hero is coming to Dark Horse Comics courtesy of Whoopi Goldberg, who is co-writing The Change, a graphic novel about an older superhero.”
The superhero character on the front cover bears many similarities to Whoopi and is dressed in a black trench coat and hoop earrings.
Her 1.3 million followers rushed to comment on the snap as one person asked: “Is it about menopause? One has to be a superhero when dealing with it.”
Another said: “Now that sounds fantastic! Thank you Whoopi,” and a third person admitted: “I’m not even a comic book fan, but this peeked my interest (sic).”
“Oh this is going to be good,” someone else predicted, while another fan added: “YES!!! The world needs more older superheroes!!!”
Whoopi later commented on the post herself and clarified why she had decided to take the project on.

HERO WHOOPI?
News of Whoopi’s solo project comes amid continuing pressure for the star to leave The View.
Reportedly, the show’s executives are “tired” of Whoopi’s “toxic” behavior and have asked her to leave the show.
Bosses are rumored to be begging the comedian to quit the ABC program after serving as show moderator for 15 years.
In February 2022, Whoopi was suspended from The View for two weeks because of what network ABC called her “wrong and hurtful comments” about Jewish people and the Holocaust.

An insider told Radar Online in December that executives have “grown tired of Whoopi’s constant on-air episodes and believe they are driving viewers away.”
The source added: “Whoopi seems to be picking fights all the time. She makes things very toxic.
“It’s clear she’s very unhappy. Everyone’s begging her to step aside for her sake and the sake of the show.”
The insider claimed Whoopi has been struggling with her physical health as a result of work stresses.
“Her health has been suffering, and she always seems to be ready for a brawl,” they said.
“It’s at the point where the constant fighting is literally killing her.”

WHOOPI Goldberg has revealed the real reason behind her surprising new career move.
Earlier this week, 67-year-old Whoopi announced that she has co-written a graphic novel called The Change.

Posting an image of the novel’s cover on her Instagram, Whoopi captioned it: “A new kind of hero is coming to Dark Horse Comics courtesy of Whoopi Goldberg, who is co-writing The Change, a graphic novel about an older superhero.”
The superhero character on the front cover bears many similarities to Whoopi and is dressed in a black trench coat and hoop earrings.
Her 1.3 million followers rushed to comment on the snap as one person asked: “Is it about menopause? One has to be a superhero when dealing with it.”
Another said: “Now that sounds fantastic! Thank you Whoopi,” and a third person admitted: “I’m not even a comic book fan, but this peeked my interest (sic).”
“Oh this is going to be good,” someone else predicted, while another fan added: “YES!!! The world needs more older superheroes!!!”
Whoopi later commented on the post herself and clarified why she had decided to take the project on.
“i made this for every woman over a certain age who still knows that somewhere inside her is a superhero with a saggy chest and a big behind and who can still kick ass,” she wrote.
More of her fans quickly replied as one said: “that sounds good, I can’t wait.”
Another wrote: “yesss. Thank you!!!!! ready for it all,” and a third responded: “and that’s why I love you.”

A description read: “The story centers around Isabel Frost, a wife, mother, and grandmother who feels that life isn’t what she thought it’d be.
“Even though she’s got an amazing support network of family and fellow gamers, things have become stagnant for Isabel.”
It continued: “But as her body adjusts to menopause, Isabel finds herself developing powerful abilities.
“With the assistance of her best friend and her comic book-loving grandson, Isabel decides to embrace the new direction of her life and become the Change.”
HERO WHOOPI?
News of Whoopi’s solo project comes amid continuing pressure for the star to leave The View.
Reportedly, the show’s executives are “tired” of Whoopi’s “toxic” behavior and have asked her to leave the show.
Bosses are rumored to be begging the comedian to quit the ABC program after serving as show moderator for 15 years.
In February 2022, Whoopi was suspended from The View for two weeks because of what network ABC called her “wrong and hurtful comments” about Jewish people and the Holocaust.

In an Instagram Story post shared on Thursday, she revealed that she’d been in contact with her doctor, who confirmed that she doesn’t “have acid reflux,” but added: “Bad news: they still don’t know why I have esophagus spasms.”
Jenelle has been open with fans about her issues.
In April, the reality star posted a new TikTok video from a hospital that showed her hooked up to a catheter for a 24-hour medical test.
“I’m going to explain to y’all what’s going on,” she began. “Bare with me though I might need to pause sometimes because I get out of breath easy.”
The Teen Mom has had issues with her lungs in the past, and she underwent a mildly invasive exam in November to see if there were any other issues.
During that exam, doctors found what Jenelle called a “spot” in her right lung that they said was caused by vaping.
“But I don’t vape. Never vaped in my life,” she claimed.
Now, doctors are tasked with figuring out why Jenelle is “aspirating into her lungs.”
The MTV star described her condition, “Aspirating into your lungs is when food particles, or unknown chemicals, or acid reflux could be going up at night into your lungs while you’re sleeping,
“And they say that the spot on my lungs that they tested is caused due to aspiration.”
In the clip, she was hooked up to a machine that tests the pH level in her esophagus to gather data that could help solve the mystery.
The medical equipment tested the pH level every time Jenelle moved, ate, drank and slept for 24 hours to see if she had acid reflux and if that was the cause of the spot.
That same month, she took to her Instagram Story to reveal troubles in her marriage before heading into the hospital.
She wrote: “Anyone else get blocked by their husband every other week? Oh, you don’t? I do.”
A short time after, she posted a photo of a roadway with text over it that read: “Going alone to get a procedure done for my esophagus today and I’m really scared. Have no support so any prayers are appreciated.”
Hours later, Jenelle resurfaced on social media with a video of herself appearing in relatively good spirits with a tube attached to her nose and a machine of some kind in her hand.
She smiled in the boomerang video and wrote: “First part over, now have to wait 24 hours.”
Jenelle then posted a video of herself lipsynching along to audio from Bob’s Burgers that said: “I am this close to falling off the deep end.

LIVE! fans have attacked the morning show again for not living up to its name.
Supporters of Live! with Kelly & Mark vented their frustrations on Twitter after Thursday’s morning show episode was revealed to be pre-recorded.

The show started with TV hosts Kelly Ripa, 52, and her co-host slash husband, Mark Consuelos, 52, energetically sauntering from backstage to their seats as the crowd cheered.
Much like they do every morning.
However, unlike the show title stated, this particular episode wasn’t filmed live.
At the bottom of the screen in the opening of Live! was a notice that read “previously recorded” in all caps.
On social media, fans emphasized their annoyance over another episode of Live! not actually being so.
Someone sarcastically tweeted: “@kellymarklive Another 3 day work week!! You guys really got it made!!”
It seems that fans have to get used to pre-made shows since The U.S. Sun recently reported that showrunners had filmed multiple episodes two months in advance.
On April 26, Live with Kelly and Mark pre-taped the June 19 episode.
ALREADY DONE
Then, on April 27, production filmed the episode that is scheduled to air on June 26.
“The opening monologue for the pre-recorded episodes is very general, like, discussing relationships and Mark and Kelly’s marriage and life with the kids,” an insider told The U.S. Sun.
“They did not touch on big news stories, such as Jerry Springer’s death, which broke in the middle of taping on April 27.”
The source noted that the guests who were brought on for the June dates were cast members from The Walking Dead: Dead City, which premieres on June 18.
The show has at least five additional filming dates scheduled to pre-tape episodes in advance.
A source close to production explained to The U.S. Sun that “this is nothing new,” and that the Live schedule “fluctuates weekly.”
“The hosts have other obligations, so it’s normal for the show to pre-tape,” the source said.
The U.S. Sun has reached out to ABC for comment.

Viewers noticed that the April 24 episode of Live with Kelly and Mark was actually filmed ahead of time.
Many took to social media to voice their frustrations.
One wrote: “When they changed the host name, the should have changed the title of the programme to Prereorded with Kelly and Mark. How many days a week did they agree to work? @kellymarklive #itsnotlive”
Another tweeted: “@kellymarklive here we go it’s not live at least not today! Going down”
A third commented: “This is so horrible. I can’t believe you’re trying to fool people people are not stupid! Painful to sit though honestly”
A fourth wrote: “Nice 5-day weekend … pre-recorded Thursday, Friday and Monday. Keep it up and you’ll have a permanent 7-day weekend!”
Viewers continued to berate the show for not being aired live, with some commenting on how the show skipped over recent events they felt should have been covered.
One blasted: “Unbelievable @Disney @ANC! This show is obviously NOT live. You gave no mention of Len Goodman’s passing! And Len was an ABC employee! And the Trivia Question was related to DWTS!”

LIVE! fans have attacked the morning show again for not living up to its name.
Supporters of Live! with Kelly & Mark vented their frustrations on Twitter after Thursday’s morning show episode was revealed to be pre-recorded.

The show started with TV hosts Kelly Ripa, 52, and her co-host slash husband, Mark Consuelos, 52, energetically sauntering from backstage to their seats as the crowd cheered.
Much like they do every morning.
However, unlike the show title stated, this particular episode wasn’t filmed live.
At the bottom of the screen in the opening of Live! was a notice that read “previously recorded” in all caps.
On social media, fans emphasized their annoyance over another episode of Live! not actually being so.
Someone sarcastically tweeted: “@kellymarklive Another 3 day work week!! You guys really got it made!!”
It seems that fans have to get used to pre-made shows since The U.S. Sun recently reported that showrunners had filmed multiple episodes two months in advance.
On April 26, Live with Kelly and Mark pre-taped the June 19 episode.
ALREADY DONE
Then, on April 27, production filmed the episode that is scheduled to air on June 26.
“The opening monologue for the pre-recorded episodes is very general, like, discussing relationships and Mark and Kelly’s marriage and life with the kids,” an insider told The U.S. Sun.
“They did not touch on big news stories, such as Jerry Springer’s death, which broke in the middle of taping on April 27.”
The source noted that the guests who were brought on for the June dates were cast members from The Walking Dead: Dead City, which premieres on June 18.
The show has at least five additional filming dates scheduled to pre-tape episodes in advance.
A source close to production explained to The U.S. Sun that “this is nothing new,” and that the Live schedule “fluctuates weekly.”
“The hosts have other obligations, so it’s normal for the show to pre-tape,” the source said.
The U.S. Sun has reached out to ABC for comment.

Born Linda Ann Fredericks in West Ham, London, she entertained her legions of followers for more than four decades.
After attending stage school she appeared as a screaming fan in Beatles film A Hard Day’s Night in 1964.
Famed for her five-octave vocal range, the self-taught guitarist and keyboard player went on to appear at the first Glastonbury Festival in 1970.
She later performed as a backing singer on David Bowie’s 1973 Aladdin Sane album.
That same year her first hit “Rock-a-Doodle-Doo” reached number 15 in the UK charts.
But her biggest hit came with “It’s In His Kiss” – a cover of Cher’s “The Shoop Shoop Song” – which reached number six in 1975.
Linda went on to have four top 40 hits throughout the 80s.
Her dulcet tones saw her tour with music legends including Cat Stevens, Steve Harley and Cockney Rebel, Rick Wakeman and Jamiroquai.

The Poosh founder had her dark hair scraped back and wore a pair of sunglasses as she put her stomach on full display.
Just above her unedited tummy, Kourtney had typed “a little IVF body” but it’s unsure when the picture was actually taken.
The reality TV star and her rocker husband Travis Barker have made no secret of the fact that they want to have a child together, but their journey hasn’t been easy.
During season two of Hulu series The Kardashians, Kourtney opened up about her attempts to get pregnant – including IVF.
“Travis and I want to have a baby, and so my doctor took us down this road of doing IVF,” Kourtney said in a confessional during one episode of The Kardashians.
“Like, it hasn’t been the most amazing experience,” she added.
She told her mom Kris Jenner: “Every single person on social media is always like ‘Kourtney’s pregnant, Kourtney’s pregnant, Kourtney’s gained so much weight.’
“It’s so rude to comment on people when you have no idea what they’re actually going through. The medication they’re giving me, they put me into menopause. … Literally into menopause.”
“Based off of what, a drug?” Kris asked, to which Kourtney replied, “Yes.”
Kardashian fans were stunned when Kourtney revealed her intentions to have a baby with the Blink 182 drummer in a trailer for season two of the reality TV series.
The trailer began with the mom of three admitting that “life without cameras was a big change for us.”
A shot followed of Kourtney kissing Travis as her children played in her backyard.
Later in the clip, viewers got a look at Travis’ proposal as Kourtney revealed she wants more kids.
She said in a voiceover: “Travis and I want to have a baby.”
The couple was then shown visiting a doctor as they were instructed to “put a sample in this cup.”
The reality star appeared to want privacy during the appointment and announced she was taking her microphone off.

Kourtney and her ex Scott Disick, 39, share sons Mason, 13, and Reign, eight, and 10-year-old daughter Penelope together.

Just last month, Shanna slammed Travis’ romance with Kourtney during an interview on the podcast Miss Understood with Rachel Uchitel.
During the podcast, Shanna discussed her early life, career, and previous relationships.
When the topic of Travis’ new relationship with Kourtney Kardashian was mentioned, Shanna said that she was “so bullied” in the media and was treated “so unfairly” when the relationship began.
“It has just put a really bad taste in my mouth,” she admitted.
She also said that she “wasn’t a fan” of the relationship.
“If I made any statement whatsoever I was just called bitter and jealous. I don’t even know Travis Barker anymore.
“We haven’t been together since almost 2010-12 and I don’t even know him. I don’t know what his favorite movie is, I don’t know what his favorite food or color is.
“We’re not together [and] I have been in my own relationships.
