THE SENATE Unanimously voted to make Daylight Savings Time permanent. However, Congress has stalled the decision which has cast doubt on the outcome of the bill. The Senate voted unanimously to make Daylight Savings Time permanent In March 2022, the Senate voted to make Daylight Savings Time permanent. The bill they voted on meant that there would be no reverting to Standard Time which usually occurs from early November through mid-March. However, the vote in Congress on Daylight Savings Time has stalled in the House, as of the time of writing.
