There will be a total of 26 acts who will be competing to be crowned Eurovision winner 2023. Ukraine automatically goes through to the final, after winning the famous Song Contest in 2022. Next we have the “Big Five” who also get an automatic place in the finale. The group – France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the UK – don’t have to take part in the semi-final rounds. This is because they are the countries who, via their broadcasters, make the biggest financial contribution towards the organisation of the Contest.
