In a video, the consumer, who goes by the identify LUNGS (@weareourlungs), stated she needed to share her story so that her followers wouldn't make the same mistake she did.

She stated she ultimately picked up the decision, only to listen to an automatic voice message informing her that $300 was charged to her account.

The message stated if this was an unrecognized or fraudulent transaction, press the quantity 2 to proceed.

After pressing 2, the message advised her she would obtain a six-digit code she was to enter into the keypad on her telephone.

The subsequent thing she knew, she couldn't log into her checking account.

After getting a number of error notifications from her financial institution's web site while making an attempt to log in, she submitted a request to reset her password.

When her financial institution requested if the email and telephone number beneath her contact info have been hers, she didn't recognize either credential.
