Moira Stuart fell unwell while celebrating the birthday of Angela Rippon leading to an ambulance being referred to as, it's been reported.
On Monday night time, the revered BBC newsreader, 74, was at the Hilton Lodge in Park Lane in London to have fun the belated birthday of the Strictly Come Dancing star, who turned 79 in October last year.
It's been claimed that Moira 'took a humorous flip' while the bash was 'in full swing', with an ambulance later photographed outdoors the lodge.
Metro.co.uk understands that the broadcasting legend was sitting on a stool on the time when she started to really feel unwell right down to the heat in the packed room, which included fellow Strcictly stars as friends.
Moira is claimed to be utterly high quality now, after individuals including Louise Minchin and Michael Buerk helped her to get some air.
A supply informed The Sun: 'She had been in great spirits on the night time and hung out with Angela and Lulu, who was additionally a visitor, on the Hilton.
'It all happened in a short time and out of nowhere, Moira, who was standing at the bar, had fallen to the ground.'
It's been claimed that 'an ambulance was referred to as just in case', although Metro.co.uk understands that the decision may need been made by employees at the lodge simply as a precaution.
The insider continued: 'The room was cleared to offer everybody some area but after a while Moira stated she was positive and that it was just a funny flip.'
They added that 'everyone was simply happy' that Moira was alright, 'nevertheless it was scary at the time'.
Moira has led an illustrious career, joining BBC Information in the early 1980s as the primary newsreader of Caribbean heritage to seem on British national TV.
She had beforehand worked at the broadcaster in the 1970s, together with her roles including being a production assistant within the Radio Talks and Documentaries division.
The presenter was a newsreader on The Chris Evans Breakfast Present on BBC Radio 2 and hosts her personal present on Basic FM on Saturdays referred to as The Hall of Fame Live performance.
Moira was appointed an OBE in 2001 for providers to broadcasting, and a CBE in 2022 for providers to media.
In 2021, she competed on the Strictly Christmas special with Aljaž Škorjanec, with the duo performing a Salsa to Santa Claus Is Coming to City.
