A WALMART shopper has questioned the store over one in every of its anti-theft measures following their current visit.

Some retailers have put in a brand new anti-theft measure in their stores which coated sure rows and aisles in clear plexiglass doors.

These doors are locked and clients should name a member of employees to open the doorways and retrieve an item for them.

In the post, Miller (@mkmiller63) questioned why a sure merchandise of males's clothing had been topic to this anti-theft measure.

"Why does @Walmart hold the mens underwear in a locked case," Miller requested.

Then they stated that an worker revealed the potential reasons behind this.

"Sure sure, I do know individuals steal them. (I've asked an employee)," Miller stated.

"But of the hundreds of different gadgets within the retailer, why JUST lock the underwear?"

Despite the employee's response, Miller shared that they have been nonetheless confused.

"MAKES NO SENSE.& Can anybody help me perceive," Miller requested.

A number of different Walmart clients have also taken to social media to complain about this measure and some of its difficulties.

The U.S. Solar has beforehand reported on the difficulty of delays as clients waited for a member of employees.

One shopper stated they waited round 15 minutes for a Walmart worker to unlock the safety doors.

"I once went to Walmart for makeup wipes," they wrote.

"That they had all but the expensive ones locked away. my bf and I stood there for like 15 minutes waiting for someone to fucking come, like how tf is someone swiping $three makeup wipes gonna harm Walmart's bottom line??"

This shopper complained that this measure had ruined their in-store purchasing expertise.

"They want us to buy however they make the buying experience horrible and make everybody feel like they're inherently legal, when truthfully most shoplifters are doing so out of desperation."

The U.S. Solar has reached out to Walmart for comment.
