A TARGET customer has stated they felt helpless whereas making an attempt to buy at their local store, claiming anti-theft measures have made it a serious wrestle.

Several stores like Goal and Walmart have taken to locking gadgets behind anti-theft glass[/caption]

One individual shared a frustrating expertise on X, formerly often known as Twitter.

"It's exhausting to buy in Target with every little thing all locked up," they wrote.

The tweet acquired a couple of comments, together with one from an individual who stated they hate how long it takes to run errands.

"Man, then they take ceaselessly to return whenever you activate the sensor for help," the consumer wrote.

"This sounds tremendous inconvenient."

SHOPPERS' THREATS

Some buyers have threatened to take their business elsewhere over challenges with anti-theft devices and self-checkout.

Now, some shops have limited the hours self-checkout machines are open for use while others have also seen& limits on the number of items& consumers should buy when at self-checkout.

Due to this, many patrons have threatened to boycott buying at Target and are turning their sights on Walmart or Amazon.

"@Goal Closing self checkout? Target in Grass Valley had the self checkout closed and solely 2 registers open," wrote an X consumer.

"Cashier advised me self checkout is closed till 11am each day now."

The consumer claimed that self-checkout machines have been closed and only two individuals have been manning the cash registers, causing "ridiculously long" strains.

"I assume I'll store more @Amazon," they wrote.

Goal has given a press release to deal with buyers' considerations, saying that the retailer has shifted its priorities on the subject of& checking out.&

"We're prioritizing full-service examine lanes to help our visitors during all the day and intend to open Categorical Self-Checkout to help busier occasions," Target& said.

"We'll remember to share your suggestions."

The U.S. Sun has reached out to Goal for comment.
