AN AMAZON shopper has claimed they have been scammed out of $1855 after buying a product on the platform.
Footage of the reported scam have been posted on the popular Reddit platform r/amazonprime.
Over 100,000 Amazon buyers use the platform to debate merchandise and share advice.
One consumer posted a number of footage of an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 graphics processing unit that they'd purchased.
The field was sealed in plastic and didn't look peculiar from the surface.
"Finally turned victim to a return rip-off, paid $1855 for a bag of flour," the disgruntled user wrote.
They offered 5 pictures of the box, including one that exhibits the processing unit is just not inside.
