Elliot Page has revealed he's still misgendered all the time but it's not something he takes personally. The actor, 37, came out as transgender in 2020 and now stars in his first movie role since his transition - Close To You. Written and directed by Dominic Savage, Elliot plays Sam, a trans man who is reunited with his family for the first time after his sex change. The film shows clear parallels between Elliot's journey and his character, as they both are finally finding acceptance in their lives.
