The 47-year-old American actor, best known for his portrayal of Dawson Leery on The WB's Dawson's Creek, has revealed he has been diagnosed with colorectal cancer. He made the revelation to People magazine, but has now taken to Instagram in an emotional posts explaining that while his decision was always to talk to the outlet 'at length' about his health, his plan 'had to be altered'.
