Pop star The Weeknd paid tribute to veteran actor Tony Todd in wake of his death at age 69. The screen star, who played the titular serial killer in the Candyman horror franchise, died at his home in the Marina Del Rey neighborhood of Los Angeles Wednesday night, which is being attributed to natural causes, his representative Jeffrey Goldberg told TMZ. The Weeknd - real name Abel Makkonen Tesfaye - took to his Instagram Stories and shared a couple of photos of Todd, including a picture of him as Daniel Robitaille/The Candyman in the horror flick classic Candyman (1992).
