Chatting with BBC Sport at the weekend, Toney laughed off Frank's suggestion that he can be bought and confused that he was targeted on the second half of the season at Brentford.
'I see that as he doesn't need me! [laughs],' he joked when asked about Frank's statement final week.
'Nah, the manager has stated what he's stated but pay attention, I can't make golf equipment come and get me.
'I've simply obtained to keep doing what I do and that's rating objectives and like I stated, what can be, can be.'
